TatianaTatiana Da Silva is a Registered Psychologist and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Practice.

Tatiana has had extensive experience working with Individuals suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Chronic Pain; as well as with Individuals adjusting to serious physical and psychological injuries within the Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Industry. Tatiana has a great passion for working with individuals struggling with Anxiety and has previously been involved in running groups for Anxiety Disorders with young adults, aged between 18-30 years.

Tatiana also possesses a great passion for factors related to relationships and her postgraduate research, which focused on the role of attachment and personality in the establishment of romantic relationships was subsequently published in the European Journal of Personality and the Australian Journal of Psychology. Tatiana is very passionate about assisting her clients to achieve and sustain emotional wellbeing and fulfilling relationships through the delivery of best practice and evidence based treatment approaches and strives to continuously develop her therapeutic skills by keeping updated with the latest research findings and emerging techniques.

Tatiana’s approach to therapy draws from both humanistic and cognitive behavioural perspectives and emphasises an environment rich in warmth, non- judgment and empathy. Tatiana strongly believes in the importance of early intervention and has a keen interest to develop skills associated with working with children and adolescents to build their resilience to mental health difficulties, as part of her ongoing professional development.

Tatiana possesses advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and her work with couples draws specifically from the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy and the research of Dr. John Gottman.
